World Cyber Games 2010 : Asian Championship will be again held in Singapore on 9-11 July 2010. 14 Nations from Asia will be taking part in WCG Asian Championship. Sri Lanka will be taking part for the 2nd time in WCG Asian Championship. The Sri Lankan Qualifiers for WCG AC will being tomorrow in Colombo. Sri Lankan Esports have come a long way in the past decade, especially after the introduction of Sri Lanka to the World Cyber Games, which resulted in a massive boom of local gaming tournaments. From these tournaments emerged many champions who have proved time and time again that they are worthy of recognition as the premier Cyber-Athletes of the Country. GTS and diGit Magazine partners with Lanka Esports for WCG SL 2010.
 
Gamos Technology Solutions, developers behind the Sri Lanka's first mobile game Colombo Ride and other popular mobile game titles, partnered with Lanka Esports as the Official Mobile game provider for World Cyber Games 2010 Sri Lanka. GTS Immensely popular Colombo Ride 2.0 will be featured as the official mobile game of WCG SL 2010 with exiting prizes for the winners of the mobile game category.
Colombo Ride 2.0 is a game that revolves around a Sri Lankan Taxi driver who makes a living running errands, transporting clients and all the while being chased by cops. Game was an instant hit when it was first released as it was a thrilling experience to drive your taxi among popular landmarks in Colombo. Participants from Kurunagala, Galle, Colombo and Kandy will be able to participate in the Mobile game category where winners from each region will compete for the national title in July.

WCG Negombo Regional Qualifiers was held in Everex Computers (Pvt) Ltd yesterday with over 50 gamers from the region taking part in the tourney. It was a first time experience for the gamers of the region and many players brought their parents & friends to the competition. Following teams/players emerged winners and will be facing other regional winners in National finals to be held in BMICH. Game
